Warmup 6ie Controller

Not to be confused with the earlier 3ie model, the Warmup 6ie is a next generation heating controller that offers smart technology and ease of use in a sleek programmer that looks like a mini smartphone. It’s claim to fame is apparently being the first underfloor heating controller with touch screen technology. Control options are auto, manual, or via an App. IFTTT and Amazon Alexa are compatible, and the unit operates via WiFi technology.

In terms of what the Warmup 6ie is like to use, it is very similar to the Ecobee3 Lite. So similar in fact that its possible they use a similar version of the same software [not confirmed]. With the 6ie, it is possible to download pictures and use them as a wallpaper [background image] for the digital display. Which adds a personal touch.

Everything is very straight forward and the programming of days and times is so easy to set up and understand. There’s also reporting of how much power is being used and approximately how much money it has cost. This gives a high level of insight and understanding into a homes energy usage and, once tapered, can help save money by cutting down on unnecessary energy consumption. There have been some teething problems with the WiFi and App functionality. However, these issues appear to be mostly sorted out now. Available in Onyx black and Porcelain white. Cable included.
